  • Legalization (authentication) of the document allows recognition in Poland of an official document issued in Kenya, Uganda and Madagascar. 


    In particular, the civil status records (birth certificates, marriage certificates, death certificates), court and administrative documents, notarial deeds, diplomas, extracts from registers, court judgments are subject to legalization.

    Only original documents may be legalized. It is not possible to legalize copies of documents.


    Please note that all documents need to be superlegalized by the issuing country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kenya, Uganda or Madagascar) before legalizing by consul. The Embassy will not legalize any document without Ministry's superlegalization.


    The legalization fee of 30,00 EUR per document (regardless of the number of pages of the document). Fee will be charged on the spot in EUR in cash or on the respective bank account:

    The documents issued in Mauritius and Seychelles should bear apostille. For any enquiry, please contact the relevant institution of these countries.
